Bend Testing Fixtures

The bend test (commonly used in three-point and four-point versions) is a material testing technique used to determine the mechanical properties of a material, especially its strength and toughness. This type of testing is commonly performed on materials such as metals, plastics, composites, ceramics and building materials such as concrete and wood.

The test can determine material properties such as flexural strength, flexural modulus, deflection and flexural strain.

Pressure testing fixture

Compression plates can be used for a variety of tests including top load tests, compression tests and cyclic tests.
We offer compression plates that apply force at the optimum angle in conjunction with a ball joint.

Available in steel for testing harder materials or aluminium for softer materials.
The connections of these grips and fixtures are threaded or with an eye-end. The grips and fixtures with an internal eye end have sizes standard for Lloyd Instruments, Chatillon and Mark-10 equipment
